Inji Ha is a freelance Scenic Designer and Scenic Artist based in Atlanta, GA. She recently completed her Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Live Design and Production, specializing in Scenic Design, from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Theatre Design and Technology, with a focus on scenic design and scenic arts, from Auburn University.
With a deep passion for storytelling through design, Inji has an impressive portfolio of recent design credits. Some notable productions she has worked on include the Tales of Hoffmann (2023), In Sisters We Trust, or My F*ucked Up American Girl Doll Play (2022), Detroit '67 (2022), Love and Information (2022), the Elixir of Love (2021), and sad women being sad (2021). These projects showcase her versatility, artistic vision, and unwavering commitment to creating impactful experiences for audiences.
Throughout her academic journey, Inji consistently demonstrated her talent and dedication to her craft. At Auburn University, she excelled in various roles from fall 2017 until her graduation. She served as the Charge/Scenic Artist and assistant to the scenic designer for ten mainstage productions, making invaluable contributions that brought visual narratives to life and created immersive environments.
Inji's exceptional work has garnered recognition through exhibitions and awards. In October 2018, her designs were selected for exhibition at the esteemed "International Stage Design Students' Work Exchange" (ISDSWE) in Beijing. Her talent was also acknowledged at SHOWCASE 2018, where her work was chosen for exhibition and received an award. In addition, Inji has been published twice, with her designs featured in SHOWCASE 2018 and the ISDSWE publication.
Driven by her dynamic and passionate nature, Inji constantly pushes the boundaries of scenic design while actively seeking new opportunities for growth and collaboration. Currently, Inji is preparing for her upcoming project, Scenic Design for Decapitation (2023), at Salvage Vanguard Theatre, where she looks forward to bringing her creative vision to life once again.
